EMDR is an evidenced based trauma focused treatment modality. It serves as an efficient and effective tool to assist the system with processing and restoring trauma memories. EMDR therapy at Renewal & Healing BH, is highly effective in addressing a diverse range of mental health conditions and concerns. This innovative approach is particularly renowned for its success in treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). However, its therapeutic benefits extend far beyond PTSD, encompassing various other conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression disorders, dissociative disorders, eating disorders, gender dysphoria, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), personality disorders, trauma disorders, and attachment trauma.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is effective for a wide variety of emotional and somatic conditions. Brainspotting is particularly effective with trauma-based situations, helping to identify and heal underlying trauma that contributes to anxiety, depression and other behavioral conditions. It can also be used with performance and creativity enhancement. Brainspotting gives the therapist access to both brain and body processes. Its goal is to bypass the conscious, neocortical thinking to access the deeper, subcortical emotional and body-based parts of the brain

Our bodies are extremely relevant to the healing process. These services gently provide an opportunity to feel grounded and safe within your body

Internal Family Systems

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a transformative, evidence-based psychotherapy that views each person as composed of a core Self leading a system of protective and wounded inner parts, akin to a family unit with members taking on extreme roles. This modality celebrates the mind's natural multiplicity as a positive trait, recognizing the undamageable Self that inherently possesses the wisdom to heal. IFS therapy fosters healing by helping individuals access and heal their inner parts, leading to greater inner harmony and external connectedness. Beyond its clinical use, IFS offers a profound framework for understanding personal relationships and navigating life.

    Addiction Treatment

Supporting individuals with addiction requires a compassionate, holistic approach that addresses both the physical and psychological aspects of dependency. It involves creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where individuals feel understood and valued. Effective support includes personalized treatment plans that may incorporate therapy, medical care, and peer support groups. Education about addiction and its effects, along with strategies for coping and relapse prevention, are crucial. Encouraging a strong support network of family and friends, and fostering resilience and self-efficacy, can significantly enhance recovery outcomes. Ultimately, the goal is to empower individuals to reclaim their lives and achieve lasting sobriety.
